Great price
My husband loves his pants. He likes that there are plenty of pockets for his wallet, etc. He likes the fit and the softness of the material. Keeps him warm during those cool days. I like that they fit him right and look great. We like that there are so many colors to choose from. Less expensive than in the stores. Great fabric, very durable.

Good quality medium weight sweatpants.
My son practically lives in sweats these days since he is working from home due to covid-19. I came across a two pack of these sweat pants for a good price and I picked the black duo up for him. He is 6’1 and fairly thin at about 170 pounds but he hates tight sweats so I got size Large and I am glad I did. The waist on these is a little smaller than on other brands. My son usually wears size 33 or 34 waist in jeans and these fit him fine and aren’t loose at all. The legs are roomy but not huge and the length is around 31″ or maybe a little longer. The material is medium weight and these have pockets – a MUST! They’re comfortable and don’t pill after washing. The only issue with the black ones is that they pick up pet hair, dust, and all sorts of little bits as black fabrics usually do. But in general, these sweats are good quality and fit as expected although those with large waists may find that they are a bit tight around the belly. The price fluctuates so keep an eye on these if you’re interested in buying them. I got the two pack for much less than the $25.00 they are selling for now.

Price, quality, fit, all very good. – Updated
I am homebound quite often, so having something that is easy care, comfortable, and warm enough but not hot was priority. Price was a strong consideration as well. Do note “homebound”. I ordered one pair of these, as often if I try to order several, I end up disappointed and, being homebound, can’t get stuff sent back in a timely fashion, so end up losing out then having to figure out if the items are even worthy of charity, then hoping I get the stuff in before it piles up. I wish shopping was simpler. In this case it was.Hmm… I was going to write that if you have bigger hips you should order bigger than typical waist size. No need. In reviewing my order, it seems I accidentally ordered a size smaller than what I usually order. They are a bit tight, but comfortable as in how jeans fit. I have been losing weight, if it hasn’t been showing up when measuring waste, or so it seemed. I am going to have to say… I think these things fit just about exactly as they should, now that I cleared that up. Well, and I actually feel better, even if my waste measurement continues to tell me otherwise about my size. Take it where you can get it.Pajamas to pants, these really impressed me. And, yeah, I am picky. Actually, I would have no other problem, than ego, of wearing these downtown. To me, I have made them into my pajamas and wearing pajamas out just seems… wrong.Thank you, Fruit of the Loom! Wonderful. Encore!Update – After a year and change, I have decided these are the perfect house pants/winter pajamas. They have lasted as well as I could have hoped, and more really, fit like I prefer, wash easily, and wear comfortably. I have decided to buy two more pair. A couple of pair a year will see me in good supply. I’m mostly waiting to die, but it seems as if I have a longer wait than what the docs freaked out about, so… might as well be comfortable. Just because you could be on the heart transplant list, and they missed it for twenty years, doesn’t meant you are going to die any time soon. Probably. *grins*

Comfy!
I recently bought the Fruit of the Loom Men’s Fleece Sweatpants, and they’ve quickly become my go-to for lounging and casual wear. The fleece material is soft and comfortable, providing a cozy feel without being too heavy. The elastic waistband with a drawstring ensures a secure fit, and the cuffs at the bottom keep the pants in place without being too tight. What stands out is the affordability without compromising on quality. These sweatpants offer a great balance between comfort and value for money. They’re perfect for a relaxed day at home or a quick errand run.If you’re looking for a no-frills, comfortable pair of sweatpants that won’t break the bank, the Fruit of the Loom Men’s Fleece Sweatpants are a solid choice. They’re simple, comfortable, and budget-friendly.

Product matches pictures and description
In general, these sweatpants serve their purpose and perform adequately. They are functional and will keep you comfortable during casual activities. However, there are some specific design elements that might not align with everyone’s preferences, including mine. One notable feature is that the pants gradually taper and become slimmer as they descend from the waist. Personally, I find this aspect less appealing. In my view, the width of the bottom hole should be proportional to the thigh-to-knee width, ensuring a more balanced and comfortable fit. However, with these pants, the ends narrow significantly, almost to half of the original hole size at the thigh, which can be a matter of concern for those who prefer a more relaxed and roomy fit. That said, it’s essential to emphasize that while these sweatpants may have certain design quirks, they still serve their primary function quite well. They provide a level of comfort that’s acceptable for casual wear and lounging. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, these sweatpants might be a suitable choice, but I’d hesitate to spend more than 20 dollars on them again, considering the slight discomfort caused by the slimming design. There are alternatives on the market that offer a more balanced fit and design at a similar or slightly higher price point, so it might be worth exploring those options if you prioritize both comfort and style in your loungewear.

Size and fit
I ordered a pair of medium sweatpants based on the sizing chart and information I found reading a lot of reviews. Here’s what I found when I received them: (Unwashed) The waist measures 29” un-stretched and 44” fully stretched. The waistband is 2” wide and the elastic is strong. At a 34” waist I found them uncomfortably tight. The inseam is 30”.The pockets are deep enough for normal things like a cell phone or keys. They also seem to be a medium weight fabric. They are heavier than my summer weight sweatpants, but I have others that are heavier. The waist tie is a 1/2” cloth ribbon. If you wear a medium but need a longer inseam try “Champion Men’s Powerblend Open Bottom Fleece Pant, Black, M” (This is the name on Amazon) the inseam on the pair I just bought recently is 32”.Hopefully this helps and I encourage others who bought the other sizes to add their own reviews to help the rest of us make informed choices.

OVERALL, the pants feel snugger after washing than before washing.
UNWASHED-Crotch spaciousness OK, not great; fabric softness & comfort GOOD, pant-leg-length outstanding; pant-leg WIDE at bottom as I like (NOT tapered & does NOT bind foot while putting pants on & taking off NOR does it get too snug if pull pant-leg above knee); the fabric is heavier than I expected, but OK.COLD-WASHED- Crotch spaciousness NOT OK (apparently shrunk somewhat, enough that now snug around crotch area); fabric softness & comfort GOOD, pant-leg-length outstanding; pant-leg WIDE at bottom as I like (NOT tapered & does NOT bind foot while putting pants on & taking off NOR does it get too snug if pull pant-leg above knee); the fabric is heavier than I expected, but OK — produced lots of lint in dryer. OVERALL, the pants feel snugger after washing than before washing.

About as I expected for the price, not great, almost OK
The legs are a little too short. If they shrink any when I wash them they will be way too short. The only other problem is the drawstring is way too short. There’s barely enough to tie it. If I hadn’t just lost 20 pounds I wouldn’t even have the ends of the drawstring sticking out. I’m 6’3″ and 235 lbs so I expect them to be a little short but I only have a 38″ waist. I expected the drawstring have more than only 3″ to tie it. The only other thing is the fabric they’re made of is really thin and not much there. And one other thing. They have a small stiff tag sewed into the seam on the back of them about 6 or 7 inches down from the waistband where it sticks right in the crack of my behind. VERY uncomfortable!

Comfortable light sweatpants – but small pockets
These are nice and light – definitely not heavy “winter” sweatpants, but that’s good for me because I tend to run pretty warm in general. They’re very comfortable and fit just right. My only complaint is that the pockets are a little small. My phone hangs out of the side of the pocket and often falls out when getting out of the car or standing up, sometimes even when I’m walking. I constantly feel like I either have to carry my phone or keep a hand on it in my pocket to keep it from bouncing out. For reference, my phone is a 6.8″ screen size.

I wear them all day and all night long comfortable, I even wear them with a nice sharp shirt and vest no belts. I just wish they did not fade. You get to the point you don’t care what people think, you know they say why that girls pants there no belt loops. Soft warm and does not winkle a single man dream comes true.Out of the dryer and off I go. I have some synthetic sweet pants black and they do not fade but not softand as warm. My Docker pants they weep for me. LOL LOL LOL

So So
They seem to be of good quality. I’m 5’7″ 300lbs (recent weight gain due to heath). I ordered XX-Large, they fit loose at the waist but don’t slip down but the are too long. They should shrink some after a few washes and drying. I like the feel of them. UPDATE the next day… I washed them and they didn’t shrink any, I had to roll them up 4 inches as I was walking on the pants legs. I wear 28″ length in pants. So the XX-Large are about 40-44×32-34. And they are baggy.

Not a straight leg pant, it is more like a jogger type pant… and that is exactly what I didn’t want. I brought these because I had purchased them in the past in a different color and they were a straight leg pant. So I am disappointed.

Everything was great except for the pockets
The only thing I didn’t like was the pockets, which are too small. I can slide my iPhone 11 in and out of the pocket, but it catches every time and I have to work at it. If the manufacturer fixes that, I would give this 5 stars.

Very nice quality at a reasonable price
I ordered these sweat pants for one of my sons who is at a skilled nursing facility after a 10-day hospital stay for a massive infection in his legs. He has had severe lymphedema for several years and it is very difficult to find clothes to fit him. To complicate things further, he has lost a lot of weight during his illness, but his legs are still huge, although smaller than they were. I told the nurses that they could cut these pants into shorts if they didn’t fit over this legs, but, amazingly, these pants fit him fine. He is able to wear them to physical therapy and do his muscle-strengthening exercises to help him get in and out of the wheelchair. He weighs 267 right now at 5’10”, with a lot of the weight in his legs, to give you an idea of how the 3X will fit. I thought the pants were very nice quality, and the price was very reasonable. I will be ordering more pairs at this price, now that I know they fit him. Bottom line, if you need nice roomy sweatpants, you can’t go wrong with these.

Been buying these for years. Light duty sweat pants at reasonable cost.
I own several pairs of these and order a new pair every couple of years once one starts to wear a hole. I don’t wear them all day, but they work as winter pajamas and are comfy.Other brands get quite uncomfortable once the inside starts to pill from washing, but these stay soft.

fits relatively baggy, good elastic waistband, thin material that doesn’t last
I purchased these sweat pants because all the sweatpants out there right now all have tapered legs and elastic on the ankles. These sweat pants have wide legs and they do not have that annoying elastic around the ankles, so I thought they would be perfect. The legs in fact are a little too baggy for me, but I would rather have that than too skinny. The elastic around the waist is strong and also includes a wide draw string. Length is about average, I am about 5’8″ and it is just a touch long on me.I have two main complaints about these pants. First, the material is on the thinner side and really does not offer much in terms of warmth or insulation, not bad if you are going to wear these in the spring and summer only. Second the durability is not so great, after approximately 3 washes the material has definitely started shedding/balling and obviously showing wear (see picture).I would probably not buy these again, but since there are not many sweatpants out there without skinny legs – then this might be my only option.

Well worth buying!
I’m a plus size female but I wear mostly men’s clothes and it is very hard to find clothes that fit me the way I want, and normally a men’s 3X-3XL are pretty snug. I prefer my clothes to have some room as I don’t like/want my clothes tight or snug….I prefer loose fitting clothes. So I was a bit skeptical about ordering a 3X-3XL, (which I normally order a 4X-4XL in men’s). But to my surprise, these sweats fit amazingly! I love that I have room and the pockets aren’t spreading apart, like most 3X-3XL. And when I sit down, it don’t look like I’m wearing high waters, which I hate. And for Fruit of the Looms, they are very well fitted, soft, and very comfortable. I definitely plan on ordering more in assorted different colors. I ordered the black 3XL. I Also recommend ordering these, but maybe one size smaller than normal.

Not bad!
These pants are super soft! They may be the softest sweat pants I ever wore. They aren’t very thick, so they’re best for cool but not cold weather. I thought they’d be a bit longer because they are made for men, but they sit almost right on my ankle, and I’m not even 5 foot 6. My only gripe is that I wish the cut of the leg opening at the bottom was wider. They’re more like straight leg jeans cut instead of bootcut, wide leg, or flare. Mine are slimmer than the picture.

Not the same and inconsistent sizing
This is a completely different product than what I received in previous years. They are much thinner and the fit is totally different. I previously purchased size large which fit perfectly. But a large in these is too small and tight fitting. I also don’t care for the flimsy internal rope. But the biggest issue I have now is inconsistent sizing. I ordered two pairs in size XL. One fit more like a 2Xl coming up to my belly button over my admittedly not trim stomach. The second was like an oversize large, fitting at waist level. I can live with the 2nd pair but I do wish they were a heavier product like the previous version.

Bought 4 pairs of these a few years ago and 3 are still going strong. It’s a shame that they seem to have stopped making them as the price has more than tripled. Much better than the other sweatpants I tried from the same brand when these weren’t affordable anymore.

Bought for someone else!
Before switching retailers I bought three pairs of these sweatpants for someone else in January 2019 (for $10 each) and they arrived earlier than expected! Since the recipient never complained I cannot comment on the quality nor fit, but hopefully there have been zero issues. Because of this and the fact that they were sold at a decent price, at the very least the “Fruit of the Loom Men’s Pocketed Open-Bottom Sweatpant, Navy, X-Large” [sic] gets a serviceable 3/5 stars!

Larger fit than expected…
I ordered 2 pairs in 3X. If I want to keep them up I have to tie them at the waist. They are very bulky and extremely loose. They fit larger than they probably should. All that to say that they are very comfy, and work great when I need to layer clothes. I can wear long johns or another pair of pants under them easily. I live in Texas and got these for the cooler winter, but when the cold spell happened a few weeks ago. They were a saving grace. With these as outer layer and a pair of lounge pants under them. My lower body was plenty warm and didn’t feel the cold very much at all when I had to do some work outside.

They Don’t Bind at the ankle
I finally found some sweatpants that work for my husband! He is 6’2”/275lbs and I got these in a XXL. These are your standard sweatpants, soft on the inside and have pockets and a drawstring waist. They are long enough, go all the way to just above his heel. What sets these apart is they don’t have the elastic at the bottom, around the ankles. His ankles swell often due to his profession and he took a pair of scissors to every pair of sweatpants he has, cutting lines/snips along the elastic so they didn’t hurt him; it worked but looked weird. Then I found these and he loves them! He can wear these out and walk into a store without looking so scruffy. Best of all though, he doesn’t have that squeezing pressure on the leg/ankles.They wash and dry well, didn’t shrink hardly at all beyond the standard of the first wash.I definitely recommend them.

seemingly durable lounge pants
I purchased these to help ward off the cold winter mornings during the Covid lockdown. Working from home provided a good chance to just bum around in comfy pants all day, so i took advantage of that and ordered 2-3 pairs of these. They are durable to wear doing light chore duty around the house and yard, while maintaining a look of more than traditional ‘sweat pants’. I wore these on short shopping trips as well. And they have lasted a long time.was a good purchase, and will buy again as needed

Sweatpants are different!
I have ordered several of these sweatpants over the last few years because I love them, but this pair that I just bought were different, they were very thin it was not the substantial material that they used to be, the fit was different and the flat two piece cord for the waistband is now a round white one piece cord. I’m really disappointed with this purchase. I hope these changes aren’t permanent.

Length / inseam Questions I had prior to ordering
Ok- so I scoured reviews before I ordered these and all I could find were people listing their heights and sizes. While that would be helpful if I matched someone’s, it was not exactly what I was looking for. Ok – so in jeans I normally wear a 36w/30length. I usually have to buy medium in sweats to get the length right, but that always poses other issues of potentially them looking feminine or tight in the thighs. I wanted something roomy and not all gathered at the ankles like everything is in the store this year- the “jogger” fit, which looks ok if you are a young guy. I am in my late 30s and feel like that style looks like I might be still wearing sweats from when they were originally popular – yikes!I ordered these in the charcoal grey in size large – fully expecting to have to ask my mom (yes I said it) or my wife to alter them for me. When I got them out of the package, they were easily a 32.5″ inseam – I would call this large a 37 waist x 32.5″ if they were sized that way. However, after washing and drying (on high heat), they shrunk perfectly – the entire pant waist and all. I would say to a 31″ inseam – just enough over the top of my shoes & the full leg gives almost a slendering taller effect to my bottom half. The leg circumference also came in a bit which was nice. No tailoring needed! I highly recommend these – the fabric is just like the cottony hoody feel of sweat fabric with the slightly furry inside. These are not too thick, but definitely not thin. Perfect for a fall or winter day out. I will be ordering these in other colors as well – I just hope they have the same shrinking effect when I put them on high heat because it seems like different colors react differently to shrinking. I will update with the other colors as I get them. Full leg is where it’s at.

Pockets could be better
I had never dropped my phone before (Galaxy S10) until I bought these. Ive dropped it at least 3 times in the couple months Ive owned them. There is no back pocket so you have to cram yer phone into one pocket (it fits – it just tends to drop out when you get out a seated position.) and then you put your wallet and keys in the other (at least I do).The fit is fine – I got a grey pair and a black pair and the black looks like I own a white cat (I don’t). I don’t know where all the white fuzz comes from but it literally shows any light-colored foreign object whereas the gray does not.Needs a back pocket for your wallet and maybe a zipper on the front ones. They are comfy though.

Not the same look
I like that their comfy but I don’t like the way they look and fit. They look like a slightly thicker jersey pant. They don’t look and fit the way the other 10 pair I have ordered and I’m curious as to why. I do realize that this product gets made in a few different countries but it’s no longer the norm. I’ll order again and check the product right away instead of waiting weeks to do so

Sizing information
Fruit of the Loom 51300R 50/50 Fleece Pant with Mesh Pockets, Large $13.95 vs. Champion Men’s Champion Eco Open Bottom Pant, Oxford Gray, Large $13.51.I have a 38″ waist and a 31″ inseam. The Champion’s waist was just fine, having a little more/stronger elasticity than the FOTL sweatpant which also fit just fine. Its inseam measured 33″ (prewash) vs the FOTH inseam of 31″. Since sweats do not fit tight and tend to hang a bit, the Champion was about 2″ too long. The FOTL came to the bottom of my heel, just where you’d want. These are prewash measurements though. After the first wash (warm) and dry (medium heat) the Champion shrank to 31″ and was at the bottom of my heel. The FOTL shrank much less (due to the 50/50 blend) to 30.5″ just above the bottom of my heel. Both waists were fine, lots of room to expand and lots of take up with the drawstring. So it boils down to what blend you like better. To most men, well . . . we just don’t care. I do expect there will be additional shrinkage, that’s just the way it is. But both fit me just fine and I like them both.If I had to make a decision between the two, I guess I would be swayed to the Champion due to the waist having a stronger elasticity. But there is nothing wrong with the FOTL. Again, I like them both.

They’re not all the same.
I have purchased three pairs of these sweat pants, in three different colors. Just be aware that they are not all the same! The black ones and the dark gray ones are made under the Fruit of the Loom label. The navy blue ones are made under the Jerzees label. The Jerzees pants are about an inch longer (same size: Medium) than the FOTL pants, which is fine because I’m tall. I also feel like the fabric of the Jerzees is better quality than the others.

Great price, great fit, great product. will buy again, for sure.
I don’t know why anyone would spend more than ten bucks on sweatpants. ahem, excuse me, athletic wear. These are the best sweatpants ever. fleecy feeling soft goodness on the inside and perfect charcoal gray on the outside. (In the case of my order anyway.) These fit perfect with the drawstring on the inside to make them snug in case you overload the pockets. Yes! Pockets. Yay! Why does anyone make sweats without someplace to put your keys and your mp3 player/ iPhone/whatever?These fit great and my wife loves that they don’t have ‘saggy butt syndrome’ like some sweatpants. I got the mediums and the sizing is perfect, by the way. I was a little nervous, but went with the site recommendation. Waist and length are great. My inseam is about a 32″ and these are right on! no dragging on the ground and they reach all the way past my shoes, so if there is a flood, I am not prepared. Will have to roll them up. (that’s a good thing.) Will definitely revisit and buy again. Shipping was also fast and excellent packaging.11/26/17. It’s about a year since I bought these and I have worn them many times and washed them many times. They have held up well. I got a comment on this review and just noticed it today and coincidentally I am wearing these very pants at the moment, so thought I’d comment that they’ve held up well. Cheers!

Fit and quality
FIT OF THE PANTS ARE GOOD! Pockets are not heavy. Made of cheaper material, and probably will not hold up as well as heavier cotton blend pockets

Very practical
I’m a woman btw.I was injured and in a cast for July and August.I wore loose fitting shorts most of the time but on cooler days and nights I needed something a little warmer. These were perfect. On the injured leg they were easy to pull on and roll up over the cast. And I wasn’t embarrassed to wear them outside the house.I took a medium size. I’m about 5’ 5” and 145 pounds.

Very Comfortable but Seat of Pants Rips Regularly
These are extremely comfortable and I bought 2 of these light gray sweats. Unfortunately, the seam down the back on the rear keeps ripping, on this second pair as well as the first (not as much on the first). They have needed to be sewn more than once. I have also purchased the black, navy and charcoal gray ones–these don’t seem to have the same issue. Even still, I wear them all the time and like them a lot. But the seam on the back is poor, poor quality.

Nice light weight pants for relaxing.
I bought two pair of these pants….a charcoal grey and a navy blue. The waist of each pair was fine, the navy blue ones were just right length wise also, but the charcoal grey ones were a bit too long so that they actually need to be rolled up a bit…not much, but enough so you don’t walk on them with your heel. One other thing is that the material, which is nice and light weight, has a tendency to “pill”…it gets those little balls of fibers on them. Not the greatest, but, light weight, elastic band so don’t need to tie them, and the price is good. I’d buy them again.
