Little disappointed but OK
Was slightly disappointed with the build quality maybe I was expecting too much for this price. However I recently purchased a Lenovo with the same spec and same price (can’t find the same model anywhere otherwise I would have bought another) and it is perfect.Pro’sGreat quality 1080 screen.Looks good with the funky design on the lid.Con’sLid/screen is very flimsy.Sharp edges on lid. Screen bezel seems to be larger than the lid leaving sharp edges protruding past the side of the lid. Feels like it will pull of the screen bezel if you aren’t careful.Quality control is poor.Trackpad makes that annoyingly cheap clunk even with the lightest of touches.Wouldn’t break any speed records. (I expected that for the spec)Overall it’s just OK for the price and once I installed Linux Mint it felt fast.

Do not waste your money – Please read below
Purpose:- Bought this laptop as I needed something light for transport purposes and that could handle basics such as small powerpoint presentations to be shared via HDMI on a bigger screen.Pros:- Relatively light weight- Charging brick is small (the size of a phone charger)- Laptop screen goes to 180 degrees (flat on the table if you need that)Cons:- The laptop is extremely slow to the point of freezing. The RAM is insufficient for Windows 11 and the CPU is also too weak to handle basic tasks, often having both RAM and CPU at 100% utilisation when opening a web browser or windows explorer (basic tasks).- Touchpad is usable but subpar.- I did not get a chance to test the speakers because I could not physically open YouTube in the browser. The browser would either crash or not load which would render the laptop unusable for several minutes as it would be frozen.TL;DR- The laptop is not equipped suitably for Windows 11 and cannot handle basic tasks. The RAM and CPU are constantly at 100% utilisation upon boot and it’s virtually impossible to open the browser or anything at all without causing the laptop to freeze and crash.

Love it!
I was really sceptical about this laptop after reading so many mixed reviews. So much so,that I actually attempred to cancel it but it was too late. Well, I can honestly say I’m so glad i wasn’t able to cancel it.Its super fast and very user friendly. The initial updates took a while to install but it was worthwhileThis is my first Asus; previously always had HP. No regrets. Its aesthetically pleasing, sturdy and I love it. Bargain price too

Cheap and Cheerful Laptop
This is a cheap and cheerful laptop. Its not very powerful at only 4g of RAM, although It does run Windows 11 but does seem a bit slow for it..Once I cleared out all the pre-installed junk and other stuff, it did run a bit faster.If you just want a cheap laptop to surf the web and email etc this is great. It does come with a full Microsoft office free for a year but after that its £60. Just get open office for free after that if your not that fussy.

LOVE IT!
First impression was very good, packaged well in a nice box. It feels really good not cheap at all and I love the rose gold colour and the screen is really big and graphics are good too. Set up was really simple and it came with Microsoft 365. for the price I paid I think it’s brilliant, the speed is really good, no lagging as such, no loud noises from the fan and start up is quick. Haven’t got anything negative to say, I’m super impressed with my purchase and would buy again if I had too. I recommend this product.

Great for browsing, streaming and even light gaming
I love this notebook, it’s really fast with Windows 11 even with just 4GB of RAM. The screen of course is not great, but does the job. I code and I haven’t ran into any problems pulling up large databases. Windows 11 is fast and nippy. Streaming is a breeze, camera quality is just good enough for Zoom calls. Battery life is actually not too bad, can get 5-6 hours before it gives me a warning. The numpad is a bit of gimmick if I’m honest. The major letdown is the keyboard, it’s rattly and the spacing is horrendous, but I use an external keyboard anyway, it’s worth the price, would recommend

Has not come with 365 for a year free
I have not received Microsoft office for free on the laptop. When calling ASUS they basically told me to call Microsoft. Have been back and forth between the 2 all day and still no better off.

Very happy with this purchase
i recently purchased this for my teenage daughter whose laptop had just stipped working.Having a laptop is vital for school work so after reading many reviews I chose this one.Its very modern looking, has an extra calcularot oad which is useful for maths.Its slightly bigger than the last one she has however its light and durable so it doesnt feel bulky. The screen completly flatterns which my daughter finds “cool”. Its fast and easy to navigate and came with office for 12 months which is useful for homework.Overall, extremely happy with this product. Bought the extended warranty to go with it for a reasonable price. 🙂

DO NOT BUY
This lap top was bought for my 8 yo for school. I didnt want to spend too much on anything fancy. This came with full windows 365 for 12 mths which i thought was good. It is SO SLOW, i can not even get word or teams to open. Gaming on Roblox FORGET IT. I am so disappointed. The lap top should at least be fit for purpose. I have missed the returns window unfortunately and am now stuck with a lap top that wont even open up a windows app. Positive note – it looks nice but that is it!.

Assis 14” laptop
Comes with Windows 10 or11 S mode , meaning doesn’t let you install other software that is not in the Microsoft store. If you want to install other software you need to get out of S mode . For the rest , nice little laptop to use . Practice.

Sooooo slow and basically awful…
I was after a cheap laptop to do some basic word processing and internet. Doing my dissertation so there would have been some online database stuff and downloading some citation software.Sleek design and colourBut it’s awful…. Really awful.It is so slow, it literally takes it 5mins to respond to a mouse click .. e.g just to open up the menu etc…I am so frustrated with it. It’s a pile of c**** essentially…Update.. it gets even worse. There is no way for me to change the recommended app download settings so I cannot download software online like anti-virus or citation software… there is just NO option on the settings to change my preferences. I have wasted too much time on this piece of junk

Lasted 7 months and barely used
Laptop lasted for 7 months, was used 4 times. Now I actually need it properly it Won’t charge up. Contacted ASUS support who’ve said they can’t replace it but need to send off for repairs which could take up to 3 weeks.Avoid!

Very good basic laptop
Bought this to be used for college/Uni work and does the job well, battery life is brilliant. Will last a week if only used a couple of times and around 2 odd days if used more. Small capacity internal hard drive so we bought a flash drive to store docs etc on instead of internal drive. Obvioulsy no good for gaming as CPU etc will not run games specs

Absolutely unfit for any purpose. The Celeron processor can’t handle windows 11 and grins to a halt when you try to open any app. Task manager shows the cpu and hard drive at 100% just to run Windows before opening anything. Avoid. Such a shame because its a lovely looking laptop.

Unable to function at an acceptable level
Due to the constant wrestling match to make this machine do even the most simplest off chores, it rarely gets used. I was surprised when, trying to open a second webpage and waiting the required 20 mins, it informed me I was running out of disk space. We’ve hardly used the thing.

I bought this laptop for my daughter last year and bought another now for my stepdaughter. ASUS has really created a nice affordable laptop that is more than suitable for school/college use.The laptop performance well and starts up quickly. It is very lightweight and a good size for travel. The battery also holds the charge well.

Great value, love it after 1 week
So far, everything has worked swimmingly. It’s perfect for what I need: light computer work, web browsing, youtube videos, google docs/excel, etc. It’s very lightweight and compact. It has 3 USB ports, 2 older versions and 1 newer version – this is tremendously helpful. It’s surprisingly fast compared to the other laptop I bought at the same price range. The mousepad calculator keypad is inventive and actually kind of useful. It powers on/off quite quickly. Software updates are quite fast. Screen and volume control are fantastic – I can finally watch Netflix on my laptop if I want.Cons: The left SHIFT button is half the size that I’m used to and there is now a separate backslash key which I always accidentally press, though I’m sure in time I will get used to this. Lastly, I wish the keyboard had backlighting for easier typing during nighttime, but it’s not a dealbreaker.Originally, I was going to buy an ASUS Zenbook but it was much more expensive than I could afford, but honestly, I really like this Vivobook and think it’s perfect for me. Overall, 9/10! ASUS laptops have always served me well (no surprise as ASUS is a Taiwanese company, which is where I believe most microchips like INTEL are made).

Problem with the start up after 3 days.the windows 11 is a problem.
I am planning on returning it as windows 11 is a problem. After 3 days it keeps telling me it’s repairing the startup and keeps repeating it over and over.

So the laptop is one drawback is the (windows s)system
until you turn it off manually, the computer freezes, it works extremely slowly and you can’t do anything, when you turn off s mode, the laptop starts working fast and is responsive, I also recommend downloading Google Chrome

fantastic little laptop
This laptop is fantastic for doing little things , it is not got enough ram to do loads but for the amount of ram it has it still does really well . I am so impressed with itI bought it when my other main laptop broke and was in for repair and I needed to watch tv and just look web browsing . I would not recommend it for work and college work and major usage not enough ram . It is fantastic for what it is and I love it. The battery ;life is great and can last up to two days and charge in a few hours . I did have a issue a few months later but the customer support was wonderful and helped me very quickly . The customer support is fantastic and the quality of the laptop is brilliant .

Great Laptop
I really like these laptops. I’ve bought 2 previously for family members.This last one I bought for myself.I’m not a gamer so not sure about that side of things, but for work, general website browsing, Spotify and netflix it does the job perfectly with no lag.It looks good and is lightweight and a good size to carry if wanting to take it out and about.It comes with a years free subscription to Word/Exell which is wonderful for me as I use it for website building and my little business.

Bought this for a college course I’m doing. Wanted something basic, no frills and this is good value. Word, PowerPoint, zoom lectures and email all work well but don’t expect it to run too much at once. Very portable with decent battery life.

Looks, feels and performs like brand new!
I bought this refurbished laptop hoping that their would not be any scratches on it and I was pleasantly surprised when I inspected it upon first receiving it out of its box. There is no scratches and it genuinely looks like a brand new laptop – it performs and feels like a brand new laptop too! I’m over the moon with enjoyment.

Beware Windows 11 S
Beware this comes with Windows 11 S, not windows 11 Home. (This means you can only install products from the Microsoft Store) The change of OS doesnt work to full windows.The Laptop, if you are only using for things which dont need to be installed, does a good job for what it is.

Fantastic Laptop!
OK, so it’s pink but it was heavily discounted because of the colour and it won’t be leaving the house so who cares? It’s fast, easy to set up and use and my only grumble is that it doesn’t have an SD card slot but I overcame this by getting a c-port adapter. Problem solved. It’s pretty lightweight and sleek to I’m happy.

Runs poorly
OK so this laptop looks and feels lovely, it had the latest Windows 11 on it and was bought purely for my son to do his homework on.It takes a while to boot up, once it finally did boot up it ran very slow almost like there was something going on in the background. We quite often had to reboot it. It would freeze up and crash which was very frustrating to say it was a brand new laptop… I wouldn’t like to know how poorly it would run once we started installing and downloading onto this laptop.Hopefully it was just this laptop and all the others run much better.I have returned my item and won’t be purchasing another one of the same model.On the plus side Amazon are amazing when it comes to returning items thank god.

Good laptop
Good laptop, nice picture quality easy to set up and use bought it a while back and will say its been great until recently had a new update and now it constantly freezes and doesnt respond so have to close it and reload it constantly

Not so great
Was skeptical to get this one because of the reviews but I did. Delivery was prompt 👍Turning it on took a while but I kept my fingers crossed. Picture quality not so great but I didn’t really bother as I just needed it for school work and assignments, also slow to load apps, doesn’t allow the download of other apps except those on Microsoft.Fast forward to 3 weeks after purchase and it just refused to turn on.Best advise to save up to buy a better PC.I hope I get my refund soon 😒

Do not buy this outdated junk.
First the notebook was tied to Microsoft browser and apps only and I had to pay a specialist to get out of that, then I found that it would not hotspot to metered services. This notebook cannot be used if you travel. Do not make my mistake and purchase this model

Processor is pants
Got this for my son for Christmas last year. Over the past few months it’s got slower and slower. Took it to a computer shop today to see if they’re was something wrong with it and he saw the sticker showing the Celeron processor and said it’s a terrible one that can only handle doing literally one thing at a time. I’m gutted I didn’t know enough to spend a little more and get the better processor like a Pentium gold that he suggested was good but still budget friendly.

OK I guess
Not the best but for price can’t expert perfect crashes , not great for xbox pc game at all . To talk on Facebook messenger it’s awful . Good for word processor and printing things out that’s it even not great on YouTube might have to send back
